Bhavani Yadav Bhagavathi is a talented Indian long jumper who has risen to national and international recognition through her consistent performances and technical excellence. She is trained under the expert guidance of Coach Dr. C. Ajithkumar, whose structured, science-based training has been pivotal in shaping her career.

Training Background:

Bhavani has been nurtured under the Sports Adoption Scheme of the Alvas Education Foundation, where she trained rigorously under Dr. C. Ajithkumar. As a student-athlete representing Mangalore University, Bhavani has shown steady improvement, benefitting from a program focused on scientific training, performance tracking, and technical refinement.

• World University Games 2023 (China): Bronze Medal in Long Jump (6.32 meters) - India's first medal in athletics at the Games

Current Goals:

Bhavani is currently focused on securing the gold medal in the upcoming Open Championship in Bangalore (2025) in the women's long jump category.
